Inspired Coastal Living for Seniors Crestavilla is a 201-unit Residential Care Facility, located in Laguna Niguel, CA. Site selection and building orientation integrated environmental and health principles into the planning, design and construction phases of this project. Accessibility, sustainability, and occupant safety were intricately woven into an aesthetic presentation of arched arcades, high windows for natural light, interior courtyards that enhance the mind and body connection and controlled air quality that promotes healthy living.

An array of diverse amenities such as a bakery, bistro, theater, worship room, classrooms, grandkids room, dogpark, walking trail, indoor and outdoor fitness centers and a commercial kitchen with two restaurant-style dining rooms, elevate the user experience. An “activated roof plane” deck, partially shaded under a trellis, will host a catering kitchen, outdoor dining, lounge/pub and an art studio--featuring a pottery kiln. A naturally lit sunroom for gathering, raised organic hydroponic community garden, greenhouse and putting green all bring comforting elements into play.

Multiple “indoor-outdoor” spaces are based on the “wellness atmosphere” principle and are designed to stimulate the five unique human senses: a memory care courtyard of roses for smell, a porte-cochere fountain for sound, a planter bed for touch, panoramic views of sunrise over Saddleback and sunset over the coastal Riviera for sight and a variety of culinary experiences for taste. Every detail in the community is meticulously crafted to improve mental and physical health. Crestavilla offers welcoming amenities for Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents in a safe and welcoming environment.
