THE STORY

The master plan was designed to offer a connected and cohesive feel to the community. Various organic forms were created throughout the site, complementing an eclectic blend of land uses. There is an absence of rain four months out of the year making water a very valued resource in this region. Thoughtful placement and celebration of this valued commodity became the focus of public spaces. In addition, there was a conscious effort to create multiple walking spaces as well as numerous public facilities. The community is environmentally and economically sustainable with a wide variety of home types, ranging from 800 - 7,000 SF villas, as well as military retirement housing, an equestrian center, and a large sports component with health and wellness as a key focus.
