THE STORY
Nestled in the canyons of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains, this renowned hideaway/meeting has been a destination spot since 1926. Dubbed the “Jewel of the Desert,” this clubhouse is legendary for its charm and serenity. Designed with great detail and luxury in mind, at 11,821 square-feet, the clubhouse offers many amenities for all ages. Circular driveway provides a grand arrival statement. Overall design draws from the authentic smooth white stucco, Terracotta tile, distressed wood floors, boosted-tile roofing, beautiful tile detail throughout, fireplaces and fountains create an “old” Spanish-Hacienda feel.
Detailed with distressed-wood truss beam-ceilings and a large focal fireplace, guests can gather for conversation or a good board game in the cozy lounge with ample seating and televisions for entertainment. For more private and formal gatherings such as weddings, corporate meetings and parties a handsomely appointed 1,700 square-feet multi-purpose room is available overlooking the rose garden and pavilion. Activities at the center include an exercise facility, family pool and spa, adult pool and spa, poolside cabanas, date palm hammocks, activity lawn, outdoor fireplaces and barbeques. Guests can enjoy the quick convenience of the “Grill” or the outdoor coffee shop located poolside. Trellis breezeway serves as a link between outdoor/indoor spaces.
