THE STORY
A transit-oriented master-planned community that spans over 366 acres, develops 258 acres, while leaving 53 acres for open space. Incorporating open space into the site plan and creating opportunities for social connection was key. When finished, it will have five distinct single-family residential villages, four multi-family villages, and senior housing opportunities. It was designed to activate the community by featuring a linear park, a great lawn amphitheater, and trails that connect all the villages. The amphitheater and central park lead to the Lake Club and connects the spinal roads of all the different villages. The Lake Club includes a pool and spa, gym, tech center/office space, free wifi, community coffee machine, and lounge. On the west side of the lake, near the entrance of the community, The Village Square contains commercial retail space, The Lake House Restaurant, The Glass House, a community library, and a Boathouse. The Glass House serves as the welcome center for the community and beyond lies the serene lake where residents can rent paddleboards, kayaks, and other lake equipment from the Boathouse. The lake, the lawn, and long connecting trails create several opportunities for residents to connect with their neighbors in an active community.
