THE STORY

Located in close proximity to a Metrolink station on a former golf course near employment, the160-acre masterplan provides a setting for living and playing in a connected, intimate, personal community. High-density homes will be surrounded by small unique gathering spaces and a multi-layered connective network that generates a dynamic, people-centric built environment.

The plan provides for up to 85,000-square-feet of non-residential development with up to 3,450 apartments, multi-family and single-family homes. Centrally located recreation centers provide resort-like gathering spaces for the residents.

Multi-modal circulation is provided on the Vine, a spine road with buffered bike lanes, and a 16-foot wide pedestrian zone on each side. Street trees, seating, plazas activity spaces and connections to internal neighborhood pathways make an inviting pedestrian realm.

The bent grid street systems allows for simple direct and understandable circulation, tapered streets provide for shorter and safer pedestrian crossings, roundabouts slow traffic and incorporate community design features. The Ion, an arterial road underpass, provides an exciting light-based design feature to attract visitors to the community.

The design guidelines ensure that only high-quality homes and commercial areas will be constructed as the community develops.
