A new Contemporary Rustic Mountain Lodge, the Scott residence is sited overlooking Loon Creek on the western edge of a beautiful 40-acre parcel in the valley floor of Durango, CO. Designed as a year-round retreat the house feels like a resort for the residents and their guests.

The home is designed for indoor-outdoor living with multiple covered terraces and large sliding doors.  A grand Great Room greets visitors with a massive stone fireplace and locally sourced timber frame trusses. Tall spaces and large windows bring in the light and showcase the spectacular views.  The elegant master suite has its own covered terrace with spa and sauna.  On the opposite side of the home, a covered e terrace with two-sided outdoor fireplace serves the kitchen and informal family room.

Guests may choose to access the three upper floor guest suites via the winding stair or elevator. A self-contained caretakers suite is located above the four-car garage and can be accessed from a separate entrance.

The house is complemented by a working horse barn, pond and stocked lake.
